Class Descriptions

 

Body Sculpting - This is a strength-training program designed to work all the muscle groups. Using hand weights, tubing and your own body weight this class will strengthen and tone your muscles. Although this is not a cardio based workout it is still capable of providing cardiovascular benefits because of its steady and repetitive design. Therefore, you receive a well – rounded workout. Cardio Kick Box – Cardio Kick Box combines moves and stances developed from a range of self – disciplines such as karate, boxing, Thai chi and kickboxing. It is an energetic experience taught in a safe and simplistic manner. Designed to fight fat and kick calories, it’s a great cardio workout and all out fun! Nicki McIntosh

Step – This choreographed program consists of several different movements and patterns that are taught in a progressive manner. This class provides you with a great cardio workout. It will shape and tone your entire lower body and push your fat burning into high gear. Nicki McIntosh Nicki McIntosh

Circuit – The Circuit class consists of interval training in a circuit format. Steps, resistant bands, free weights and your own body weight are all used throughout the circuit in a combination that creates a very diverse exercise program. This is a great alternative workout and a terrific form of muscle conditioning. Circuit training is also a great cardiovascular conditioning challenge. Nicki McIntosh Nicki McIntosh!

Core – Balance, stability, agility and core strength are important in everyday life. The core workout focuses on the abdominal and lower back. By simply stabilizing your own body weight and performing a variety of movements, you will strengthen your core and back to support your spine as well as create a foundation to assist in the overall strength of the entire body.   • *All classes begin with a warm up which is essential. Therefore nobody will be permitted to attend a class after the warm up has begun. Please bring a water bottle and towel to each class with you. Hope to see you there!!!!
